Weekly homework
You are required to complete weekly listening homework for each segment of our movies. To get full credit, you must complete the homework before we watch the segment in class. See the schedule for more information.
Weekly interviews
Each week, six or seven students will be selected at random for the class to question. Classmates will ask the selected students to answer questions individually that are related to a randomly drawn topic. The only way to prepare for this is to improve your general oral skills. So if you want to do well on your interviews, you should use your English as much as possible outside of class.
Students will be selected using our handy-dandy lucky number generator. Topics will be selected similarly using the lucky topic generator. If your student number comes up, it's your turn. You will be graded according to the oral rubric located at http://cailab.net/rubrics/oral1.shtml.
