We will not be following a prescribed schedule in this class. Rather, we will take anywhere from three to five weeks for each project, and use class time to address language and other issues as they arise.
Your journal - just do it!
Your journal is a semester-long project, and hopefully a project you'll continue working on after the semester. Start making journal entries today! We'll talk about your journal at length in class. In short, it's meant to serve as a place for you to generate ideas that you might be able to use for your other projects. Also, it's meant to help you develop your writing fluency. I am not grading grammar, spelling, or other mechanics in your journal. Look at it as one continuing free writing activity. Have fun!
